Screaming into the abyss to let the anger out, not being heard.
I scream into the darkness, a wild cry,
But my voice gets lost, swallowed by the night.

I am mute, for the vast abyss has swallowed my words alone.
My feelings have been brushed off, my heart sits in grief.
I scream like a thing damned, but silence simply roars back at me.

Definitely not what I'd have considered "horrific" enough. She hasn't quite jelled as a character, but is getting close. Her expression reflects my frustration. She's the most powerful being in my universe, kept prisoner in her own world by her world, and hobbled fantastically by her own mortality. She's also a fraction of herself. (Which makes more sense in her story, but is hard to manifest visually.) Thanks for the little snippet of song/poetry. It's really neat, especially because Lyren's entire purpose in existence is to make the universe whole again, which she believes will demolish the agony of our loneliness.
