Have you noticed how much of a better copy this render is than the image I posted to the challenge. The resolution on this image is way better than there. The graduation of darkness on the challenge image, steps down like the old 256 color image use to!???? Enlarge this render and enlarge the one in the challenge and look at the left and right graduation. Why is that. Should I bring it up with admin?

If it is the same image then yes, It seems some of the site compression can make a big difference depending on the image. Especially the low light renders, compression on black or dark areas gets very grainy.

Maybe try re uploading it and see if there's a difference.

After taking another look they are both similarly effected by the compression. I wonder if the site compression can be adjusted as I see this quite a lot with my renders. I tend to send people to daz to see my renders instead of here because of this grainy loss in quality.

A lovely image.  FYI I had a similar problem with one of my images that I uploaded to the Reflections contest,  what I tried was to upload a jpeg instead of a png and that seemed to work better for me.

Beside the great light, the absolute perfect use of the water brushes, that give the render a very realistic view, this is amazing.
Have you used Ron's brushes or have you made them yourself?

Thanks Beautiful'! The splashes are 3D meshes. A combination of SY shower, waterfall and splash models and ages of moving and tweaking...lol. Us artists with nothing better to do.

My highest respect! The result is marvelous and far away from "nothing better to do".
You could consider selling those splashes for daz studio, pretty sure, people would love them.
