Temple of Time (2)
3D Render by PetegeSee what happened before Temple of Time (1). (https://www.renderhub.com/gallery/48994/temple-of-time-1)
A figure emerged from the shadows, moving with the fluid grace of someone accustomed to stealth. It was a young man, perhaps around her age, with dark hair and intense eyes. He wore simple clothes that blended with the jungle, and his gaze was fixed on her with a mixture of surprise and curiosity.
“Who are you?” Alise asked, instinctively stepping back, her hand reaching for the knife at her belt.
“I could ask you the same question,” the man replied, his voice calm and measured. “I’ve been following you since you entered the jungle.”
Alise’s eyes narrowed. “Why?”
The man shrugged. “Curiosity. Not many people come this way.”
She studied him for a moment, then lowered her hand, sensing no immediate threat. “I’m Alise,” she offered cautiously. “I’m here to explore the temple. The villagers said it was abandoned.”
The man nodded. “It is. But it’s also watched over.”
“By you?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
“And others,” he said cryptically. “This place holds many secrets.”
Alise felt a flicker of excitement. “Would you show me?”
He hesitated, then nodded slowly. “If you promise to respect it.”
“Of course,” she agreed, her voice tinged with eagerness. “I only want to learn.”
Together, they began to explore the temple, the young man revealing hidden passages and ancient artifacts. As they delved deeper into the mysteries of the temple, Alise realized she had found more than just a forgotten monument. She had stumbled upon a guardian of history, and perhaps, a new friend.
Their exploration continued, the jungle around them whispering its ancient secrets, as the past and present intertwined in the sacred halls of the temple.
