Fri, Aug 09, 2024I really appreciate your comment. The degree of difficulty creating this was just crazy. The barren landscape was a heavy modified environment set, the portal is from the Void set, which I also made many changes to. The internal image in the portal is a freebie background on Rendo. The Celestial beings was a modified G8.1 character called spindle with a Geo Aura added to the character, I then hid the character so only the Geo remained. I added the foreground water and changed the color to a black oil shader. Rendered at 8K and down sampled the image to 5K to create a dramatic effect to the scene.

Such a wonderful story, even though it seems, it will end with the children, since they are siblings.
Would be great, if the celestial beings could find more humans and let you write the next chapter

Fri, Aug 09, 2024When and if things get this bad, There may be many who could survive, but the hope will always reside with the children for they may eventually get where we couldn't get.
There are many pieces I create where I would like to expand my thoughts, however sometimes the current state of the art can be a limiting factor, I am sure it will get better, but my time is in short supply.
