The year is 2055. The United States is no longer a sovereign nation. It has become a Chinese colony.

No one saw the Chinese for the threat they actually were.
Politicians even openly ridiculed them at the United Nations.
In the beginning they turned the other cheek.
In secret, they developed a whole new generation of highly sophisticated weapons.
They borrowed (read: stole) the ideas from all over the world.
Stole from all the companies that made their products in China.
They blatantly ignored copyright and other trademark protections.

Soon they were no longer copying. They were at the forefront of the arms industry worldwide.
In the spring of 2038, they finally conquered Taiwan. Thus they secured the world's computer manufacturing industry.
Nvidia, Intel, AMD ... now all came into Chinese hands and arbitrary.
This small island that the whole world had relied on both current data and graphics processors.
All were now under Chinese control. The Chinese authorities immediately closed all shipments of processors
and other important computer equipment to the rest of the world, especially the West.
The outside world never saw this coming at all, even though the Chinese
had been making such threats since the days of Chairman Mao and during the Cultural Revolution of the 60s.

Although a large part of the Taiwanese intelligentsia had defected,
well in advance of the impending invasion, it could not compensate for this great loss.
China was suddenly the leading nation in computers.
The lion's share of Taiwanese research progress went directly to the Chinese military manufacturing industry.
They took giant leaps forward in military advancement compared to the rest of the world.
No one laughed anymore. Nations, all over the world, slowly adapted to all manner of Chinese demands.

Soon the whole world shook with fear.
Large areas all over the world had, decades before, been bought up by Chinese companies.
Mines and oil wells in Africa and Australia.
Large acres for agriculture and food production in large parts of Europe.
All in all, this was just a preparation for what was to come.

After the US president threatened the Chinese chairman one too many times, things went downhill.
There was no declaration of war or other signs of escalation, just a threatening and ominous... silence.
The Chinese army mobilized one hundred million soldiers – in just ONE DAY!
They could have mobilized ten times as much, but settled for that.
These soldiers were elite forces, trained in Kung Fu and other martial arts.

Paratroopers secretly flew to the west coast of the United States
in a new generation supersonic plane with brand new stealth technology.
Our radar didn't even see them coming. The sound of their engines was barely audible.
Soon the sky was filled with parachutes over San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles
and of course the strategically important city of Seattle and the Boeing factories.

The US Army and Air Force were immediately mobilized.
The Air Force made a valiant attempt to stop the Chinese Air Force,
but were literally wiped out of the sky by Chinese drones flying several Machs faster
than the Americans could throw at the invading forces.
On the ground, the army had an equally tough fight.
Sophisticated tanks and armor, three times faster
and more impenetrable armor than the Americans made the task almost pointless.

The final final battle came, at what the US Army believed would be a decisive and final blow to the Chinese Army.
Both forces clashed outside Oklahoma City on April 14, 2055.
There, the US Army faced a stinging defeat.
The Chinese had developed a superweapon called The Dragon's Breath.
Most of the soldiers of the once proud American army literally melted like candles, where they stood on their feet.
In just one day, three quarters of the male population of America disappeared from the face of the earth.

The only ones left were ... women.

The remaining American men and boys were either sent to Chinese factories and mines all over the world.
The women and young girls were mainly sent to army brothels or served for top Chinese officials and political board members.
Others were sent to "re-education" camps to become committed communists, through various sophisticated brainwashing techniques.

In addition to Chinese soldiers, drones and armored robots regularly swept the cities in search of resistance or stragglers.
Those caught were immediately sent to the mines, oil wells or factories.
There they eventually starved to death due to acute malnutrition.
To the Chinese it meant absolutely nothing.
They still had advanced plans to populate the entire United States with Chinese alone.

Finally, a group of women decided they had had enough.
They organized a guerilla, sworn to fight and overthrow the Chinese occupation.
By pure chance, they came across a hidden stockpile of high-tech weapons, left by the US Army for safekeeping.
More such weapon caches were found all over the county.
