They say that we dream every single night, but that we don't always remember exactly what we dreamed about when we wake up. I rarely remembered anything other than some nightmares I had.

I was in something like a life crisis of epic proportions. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. I was behind on the rent. My fiancee had dumped me. I worked at three different jobs. Barely managed to get a full night's sleep. I don't consider myself particularly religious. Yet one night I clasped my hands and prayed to well what?! At least I hoped that whoever was on the receiving end, would hear my cries for help. I was desperate.

That night I had the sweetest dream. The most beautiful woman I have ever seen, slowly emerges. She is so beautiful that I wouldn't even have been able to imagine her. With a crystal clear voice, like the sound of angel bells, she said:

- Jack, don't give up. It's so close now. Your victory will come. It will turn around for you. Your time will come. You have such gifts. You will bring joy to many people. Just hold on.

When I woke up, she still felt so close. As if I could have touched the fabric, of that white dress she wore, if I stretched out my hand. It felt like I didn't have a problem in the world. Everything was kind of blown away. I went to work. Everything flowed, without the slightest effort on my part. Felt like I had assistance from above.

This dream recurred, for five whole months. Every night this lovely creature came to me with the same message. As if she wanted to etch the message into my being. Finally, I was convinced. By that time I had gotten a new job, with enough pay to get by on that alone. The manager was absolutely wonderful. We had the same interests and liked pretty much the same things in life. Often went out and had a beer together after work.
One day he came to me.

- Jack, I would like to introduce my daughter Suzanne to you. She is home for the holidays from college.

Imagine my surprise, when the woman from my dream is standing there right in front of me. The tears almost come to my eyes. She looks at me a little confused, as if she's done something wrong. I manage to pull myself together and shake her hand.

- Jack... Jack Warner.

What lies ahead, I can only speculate. What is clear is that it feels as if it was... meant to be.
