Je les considère plutôt comme des sortes d'analyse d'oeuvres, ou des petites conversations sur l'art ; mais des conversations qui ne se prendraient pas au sérieux. J'apprécie les oeuvres d'art depuis longtemps et j'aime parler d'elles. Disons que dans ma pratique, l'oeuvre est un déclencheur d'une sorte de pièce de théâtre qui fait écho à celle-ci. Je ne me considère pas comme un artiste, mais comme un passeur, et je suis content si à travers mes images j'ai pu faire découvrir les artistes que je cite. Merci beaucoup pour tes commentaires.

Taking some liberties with an interpretation:
First generation - through a window.
Second generation - through a mirror (mirror portal to the past, in a big picture frame)
Next generation will be through a video screen.

Thank you very much for this comment, it is good to have noticed this mise en abyme in my image. On the ground, I redrew Courbet's "desperate" in the manner of a young child, as if the mother and her future child had each in their own way drawn the portrait of the bewildered spectator. Moreover, the lighting here is unnatural, as if it came from the very window of the painting. The young pregnant woman is both the allegory of the artistic fertility of women, and the image of their struggles not to let themselves be confined to this sole role of mother (comparison with the more determined pose in the self-portrait of the painting).
