3D Render by MKDAWUSSWent for the "oh that over there looks cute/interesting/nice" look. Or tried to anyway.
Had this scene for a while, but never got around to actually using it because... well, using real photos in a 3D/CGI world just breaks... immersion? uncanny valley? a visual ceiling? -- where the picture on the wall (or other object) looks more "real" than the "real life" of 3D/CGI. Took me a bit to finally replace those posters with something that fits the visuals of the world a bit more. Still kept to the theme of the originals to a degree. Some posters being promotional is a bonus.

Nice use of the added textures. I see your meaning of real images vs those of 3d Models. There is a line that can be crossed if put to good use. Good job

Sun, Jan 19Yeah. I think we're getting there in terms of being able to cross that line, but there's still some ways to go. Right now, though, there are some things that one can get away with better than others.

Love it! We meant to make a freebee bill board and poster series some time back but it has just sat in the "to do" pile for some time. Thanks for the reminder. Wonderful work as always and it is good to see Tabytha getting her retail therapy on.
