CHB Milan for Gen 8/8.1 is absolutely my favorite Genesis 8.1 character to work with for artsy things. Despite being super pale, she has lovely textures, blends well with other characters, and is just an all around good character. This one was an audition render, to see if she'd fit as one of the gamillion characters I want to put faces to so that when I drop dead (alas, and sigh), I'll have left behind some tangible evidence of a life squandered in some other reality. (I saw my hubby's eyes cross when I suggested he was the custodian of said legacy should he survive me. I think of this as payback for all the times he thought the baseboards are kept clean by magical house elves...)

I agree. And how versatile they can be. I have a couple of regret purchases and some from bundles that I may never use, but most of them are really good for morphing into other folks. Some of them are just better than others.

Yeah how versatile a number of figures can be (original and IP) can be the big surprise. It's an awesome feeling when you're seeing a render come together where you now know you've hit it with this figure. That breakout moment when you really get to know that figure, when the OC turns into more of a character or person than just a blank slate... It's also one of those things people outside our hobby wouldn't get.

Regret purchases, bundled extras, stuff that gets buried by other stuff, replacement stuff... got plenty of those as well.
