WE ARE HERE FOR GWYDION

Weeks later, Sean opened the Inn door to a knock and found a woman in white and a Fomorian at the door.

Fedelm said, "We are here for Gwydion."

RETRIEVING THE CHEST

Once Fedelm had clarified that she wanted the chest that Ceridwyn had left, Sean moved quickly. The room seemed to have a miasma that kept both humans and animals from entering.

Sean drug the chest to the overhang of the second floor over the bar.

The Fomorian, Morc, had to duck to enter the Inn. However he could reach the chest from the first floor. He slid it down, cradling it in his arms and pushed it out of the front door.

THE END OF THE CLEANSING

Morc put the chest into the cart that they had brought to carry it back to Llyn Cerrig Bach.

He shied from Fedelm as she completed Sean's blessing, uncomfortable with the sensation of Druid magic.

While the chest was being brought down, Fedelm had done the enchantments needed to clear the presence of the Risen wizard, visiting the wagon, the dining area and lastly the second room.

She had already blessed Lana. Her blessing of Sean was the last thing she had to do before leaving.

DEPARTURE FOR CAER WYDDNO

Morc reattached the board that served as a gate for the car, lifted the fork and started down the long road back to Caer Wyddno where Fedelm had left her horse.

Fedelm chanted binding songs as they walked. Morc still uneasily glanced at Fedelm from time to time but knew she was protecting them from what they carried.

THE FOLLOWER

A raven flew from one of the Inn's trees. It followed Fedelm and Morc at a distance.
