Prya's short legs could not match Laura's haste to return to the tavern. Prya arrived long after Laura. The departure party was in full swing.

The ship's crew partied until Laura threw them out. By closing time, the entire tavern was wall to wall drunk goblins.

After closing Laura saw that all was clean and in its place. Asking Prya to extinguish the lanterns she left for home.

And once the lanterns were out, an exhausted half-goblin climbed onto the bar and fell instantly asleep.

Much later one of the tavern's guardians kept watch as Prya slept.
