Rebecca hesitated at the entrance to the elevator hallway. There were fires and a dark puddle between her and the partially wrecked elevator car.
EYES
As she came even with the dark puddle, a number of eyes floated to the surface, all turned toward her.
SOMETHING ELSE
When Rebecca entered the elevator car, not certain that the it was still functional, the puddle rose from the floor, taking on an insectoid shape and starting forward.
