I don't think that person means that but instead that guessing how much AI would impact... -and probably it's also expression of an opinion on what they saw there. Not that it needs to be made in AI but AI one day trying to take over animation industry and well any industry or business. Probably that. Idk.

Sure people with AI can try but as falty and halfassed stuff that AI does. -And as long as irresponsible people keep stealing copyrighted materials to train their AIs... We could also talk about how AI is going to effect work of skillfull animators, designs etc I don't think it's good idea to put trust on a tool and an assistant program to do the work. AI Is already being used pretty irresponsibly on writing books, making "art" and so on and very few people can actually touch up the mess that AI has made and fix it to look good.

And another thing, human mind is pretty much limitless when it comes to creativity,. AI's are as good as what people train it with. It can rotate same idea over and over again and create quite few atrocities along the way trying to figure what is that car even looks like. I don't think that people who already have difficulties to find a job on industry are ready to fact that because of AI they'll be having even less jobs in the future if the things go really bad. Or their work being used by the companies to program AI tools to do the job.

Likea yea... people when they hopped onto AI train really didn't do much thinking or thought much any of the concequences. Those concequences are gonna come back biting one day. It probably was meant to be fun and so that everyone could benefit... well the companies for sure are exploiting it. * sigh *

Dunno if you are good at reading text but yea, absolutely no hate. Just me being bit tired and yea, been thinking about this matter for a while. Sure, I tried AI but I also grew bored to it. I do want to do my own stuff, sure am open to ideas but still, i want to develope my own skills.
