Rebecca went back down the broken elevator, crossed the still burning corridor with its pitch black puddle, exited the steel door, closed it and settled down to wait.

TEAM READY?

As the Dragonfly edged up to the railing, John stood up.

The bay door opened and dropped onto the walkway.

Leroy said, "Come on, Walker. Let's go get whatever did this."

Walker grunted and slowly took his feet from the bench, standing up while ducking as all of them were too tall for the crew bay.

THE LONG VIEW

Rebecca had been expecting the support team to arrive from the south but they had instead come to the north end of the hanger. She turned as the metallic clang of the bay door striking the walkway rang through the hanger.

"RK192. Access to the lab is through the southeast entrance."

"Copy, RK192" responded John.

"Let's go, team."
