Yes, that's how I see it too. No matter what the scenario, when adults try to test their powers against each other and apocalyptic conditions or catastrophes occur, it's the children who suffer the most.

The past I grew up in was so much fun! I would spend the day at a neighbor's house playing, or just sit on the porch, and friends would come and join me for a playdate. Thank goodness, for the most part, my girls have it just the same, but life for most kids is not as fun anymore.

Imagine how boring a cyber future would be for them, cooped up in a small box with a screen, when going out might be the last thing one does. Just hoping that mother makes it home for dinner in one piece.
