For my second entry in the contest, I decided to explore a more organic concept, drawing inspiration directly from nature particularly mushrooms, whose unique shapes and textures evoke both delicacy and mystery. My goal was to convey a natural atmosphere that balances simplicity with strangeness, evoking environments that could exist in fantastical worlds.

The entire process was developed from scratch in Blender, starting with a low poly model built from a plane to ensure lightness and optimization. I then moved on to a high poly sculpt, aiming to capture more organic and detailed forms. After that stage, I performed the baking process and finalized the textures in Substance Painter, creating a palette that emphasizes both a modern look and a slightly stylized aesthetic.

For the outfit composition, I incorporated organic elements inspired by mushrooms, envisioning the design as if it were a cluster of fungi seamlessly integrated into its environment. Since these forms are often found in dark, damp, and unexplored places, I chose to create a darker scene to reflect that concept. For the outfit details, I used my sculpting work to create a unique texture: golden threads woven into the fabric, inspired by the mushroom’s stem, adding both contrast and elegance to the final result.

I also challenged myself to complete this piece in less time, pursuing this more organic approach instead of following my usual workflow. I hope every detail in the final work reflects that effort and that you enjoy it. Thank you for reading!
