Brick Riot
3D Render by scifierAt the end of the contest, I decided to break away from seriousness and unleash something playfully rebellious: Brick Riot—a LEGO Punk Band crashing the digital runway. From spiky-haired minifigs in ripped digital outfits to guitars, microphones, and custom-made brick accessories, each detail embodies the raw, DIY energy of punk.
The look even features a pleated skirt—already a challenge on a human body, but absurdly funny (and oddly stylish) when sewn onto a LEGO figure. I also included my own Illustrator-designed logo, tribal tattoo motifs, and other accessories built from scratch to amplify the band’s chaotic aesthetic.
Created using Maya (band members and instruments), Marvelous Designer (punk fashion), Substance Painter (textures), Illustrator (logos & tattoos), and staged in Adobe Substance 3D Stager—Brick Riot is equal parts parody, artistry, and riotous fun.
Because sometimes, punk is fun. And this time, punk is plastic.

I love it! In Italy we have a band called "La Sad", this looks like a pardoy of them, lol.

Sun, Aug 31Hahaha I’ve never heard of them before, but I had to laugh when I looked them up—it really does look like LEGO copies of them! I love that you saw the connection. I guess this turned into a parody without me even realizing it, lol.
