In Japanese tradition, it is said: “Clothing is not just a cover, it is the story the soul tells through fabric and metal.This is the story of ''Sevi'' a woman standing between beauty and power, where every detail of her attire carries a hidden meaning.

This design is a re-telling of an ancient tale of a woman who was both delicate and strong. Each element of the outfit is a symbol of the past, of the human psyche, and of my own dream.

– The sheer floral top recalls the fragility of the spirit; that even on the battlefield, or under the spotlight, something within us always remains tender and vulnerable.
– The belt with the tiered copper inro is inspired by traditional Japanese culture — a layered box once used to carry precious items. Here, it becomes a metaphor for the human mind: full of memories and secrets, stacked within.
– The jade circular earrings remind us of the eternal cycle and inner balance.
– The bladed fan embodies contradiction: beauty that can also wound.
– The ancient coins tied to the belt symbolize our link to history — a past that must be seen, but not imprison us.
– The small bottles are vessels for the unknown, representing the readiness of the spirit for the uncertainties of the future.
– The Sakura Kansanshi speaks of the fleeting nature of beauty, like blossoms that fall too soon.
– The gold-embroidered fabric is a garden of dreams, blooming even in hardship.
– And the high boots, carved with floral patterns, recall the strength of the samurai: striking the ground with endurance, while still carrying grace.

This outfit is more than a design; it is an honest confession. Hours that could have been spent on profit and work were instead given to this piece — because I believe art must be born with the whole self.

For me, this contest is not a competition, but a journey — through philosophy, through the human mind, and through a heritage that rises from the past and continues into the future.
