The Work Day
3D Render by rrkknight3FIRST IMAGE
By midafternoon, Maddison was completely ready to meet Brooklyn for a drink.
The current project was being frustrating. The computer analysis of the skull showed nothing that would contribute to why the person had died.
The overcast day did not help..
SECOND IMAGE
On top of that, she had had the distinct sense that someone was watching her although the adjacent rooms were empty.
She decided to walk down to Tactical to see if any of the guys were already back from the field.
THIRD IMAGE
The day had ended.
Maddison finished recording her results, put the skull away and logged into the central police computer.
After some searching through the Housing Office records she found the owner of the vastly overgrown estate that her apartment faced.
It belonged to a Robert Blake. It had been abandoned since July 31, 1935 when the owner had been killed in a freak lightning storm.
Why it had not been foreclosed upon was not in the records.
She headed to the locker room to change from her work uniform into something more appropriate for the bar.
