Resident Evil: Shadows in the R.P.D. – Part 1
The library of the Raccoon Police Department was thick with silence, broken only by the creak of loose floorboards under hurried boots and the metallic groan of a hulking figure behind them.
Leon S. Kennedy’s breath fogged in the dim light, the weight of his R.P.D. gear pulling at his shoulders as he clutched his weapon tight. He glanced at Jill Valentine, her movements sharp and determined as she pointed toward the far stairwell. Despite the chaos pressing in around them, Jill’s focus never wavered—her eyes scanning for exits, her instincts driving them forward.
Behind them, the footsteps grew louder. Heavy. Relentless.
Mr. X.
The towering Umbrella creation moved with terrifying inevitability. His trench coat rippled with every step, pale skin gleaming faintly in the green glow of the library’s lamps. He didn’t run. He didn’t need to. The monster’s calm pursuit was worse than any sprinting horror; it carried the promise that he would not stop.
“Left, upstairs!" Jill hissed, adjusting the bulky, yet powerful M202 Rocket Launcher that rested on her shoulder. She didn’t have time to explain what was inside—only that it might be their one chance to slow the Tyrant down.
Leon’s jaw tightened, his youthful determination fighting against the creeping edge of fear.
“You better tell me you’ve got more than just a plan in that thing," he muttered, forcing a smirk that didn’t quite mask the tension in his voice.
“Trust me," Jill shot back, her tone low and even. “I didn’t come this far without one."
Books lay scattered across the floor, knocked loose by their sprint. As they moved, Leon glanced back once more—and instantly regretted it. Mr. X had reached the entrance of the library, his massive frame nearly blotting out the light of the exit sign above him. His dead eyes locked onto them, and his gloved fists clenched as though crushing steel would be no effort at all.
The pair ducked into the shadows of the stairwell, boots pounding wood, while the distant crack of splintering shelves behind them signaled that the Tyrant had entered the room fully.
Leon exhaled sharply. “Great. Just great. Out of all the things I expected on my first week, a seven-foot nightmare in a trench coat wasn’t one of them."
Jill’s expression remained unreadable, though her voice carried a calm authority.
“Then consider this your crash course in survival, rookie. Lesson one—don’t stop moving."
As they ascended into the darkness above, Mr. X followed, the library trembling under each of his steps.
And deep inside the R.P.D., the hunt had only just begun.

Created using Daz Studio 4.22. Planned out the scene and poses in a few days. Still learning DAZ Studio after over a years of use. Duration of renders was around 1.45 hours average in Nvidia Iray with a 9950X3D and RTX 4090, that's due a medium Fog Atmosphere being used which take up GPU resources. Post work was adding some vignette and adding the watermark.
No AI involved, just a lot of hours sitting on my backside making this render.
