The Abandoned Manor
3D Render by Prometheus 3DThis decaying house rises in the heart of a misty clearing, forgotten for decades.
Its wooden walls, weathered by time and swallowed by ivy, still seem to echo the lives of those who once lived here.
The few remaining windows let out an eerie light, as if someone – or something – still lurks inside.
Each façade whispers a story of solitude, fear, and abandonment.
The environment was designed to be simple yet oppressive:
A dense fog that engulfs the surrounding forest.
Dramatic lighting, revealing just enough while leaving the unknown in shadow.
A red balloon, the only vivid color in the scene – a twisted symbol of innocence turned into silent menace.
My goal was to create a scene that plays more on psychological unease rather than explicit horror: a house that may appear abandoned… yet silently watches you back.
Technical details
Modeling: created in Autodesk Revit.
Texturing & atmosphere: developed in Twinmotion.
Final rendering & horror mood: refined in Unreal Engine 5, using lighting design, volumetric fog, and post-processing effects.
