The Devil's Whisper

While I created this render for the contest, it was mainly inspired by a scene from the novel that I am writing. In this scene, the devil, under the face of a handsome young man, appears to a monk to try to corrupt him. Here, I replaced the monk by a priest, but the idea is the same.

I spent a while hesitating between several versions, some of them with characters in the stained glasses, and even a fire in the chalice, but finally, I preferred this one, simpler in its content, because I found it gave a more "dangerous" atmosphere to the image: the priest is completely alone with the devil...

On another hand, my family made me notice that this image could be misinterpreted: I would like to clarify that this is NOT an apologia of evil, corruption or anything of this kind, no more than a desire to insult any religion whatsoever! As I said, it is directly inspired by a scene from my novel... I classified this image as mature content because of this ambiguity.

Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy it for this horrific contest!

The last additionnal image is a render from a previous version: I decreased the environnement intensity to 0.5, rather than 1, and added a divine red light from the asset Expanded Godrays Iray available on the Daz store. I also added a character with blood tears on the glasses. Forum Image

Finally, I removed this character and the divine light for the final render, and I came back to Environnement Intensity = 1.

In other versions, I also hesitated betwen let this character on the three glasses, or using Gimp to make her appear only on the middle glass. There also was a fire in the chalice:
