Kel "the Badger" Strongheart - Halfling fighter concept. The 1st edition of AD&D had three halfling subspecies -- Stout (more dwarf-like), tallfellow (more elf-like), and hairfoot (traditional species in LotR).

I am not a professional artist, yet it seems a simple job to have the head not be half the character's body weight (looking at crappy WotC halfling art).

I did a bit of kit-bashing with the outfit and weapons, using pieces from a variety of sets and in some cases doing some re texturing/recoloring. The character herself required quite a bit of fine-tuning and was the hardest part, as simply reducing the scale resulted in several deformations that had to be addressed.
