HDRI Test Figure
3D Render by MjrkTo test the lighting effects of different HDRIs on a figure I have chosen a G9f (Noemi), used a simple standing pose, gave her some different outfits and then made some simulations.
Although this isn’t about beauty or how nice a cloth is draping over figure or some chair, I wasn’t too happy with the outcome. So I tried No. 1/12 of the exnem texture sets for G8 and G8.1 figures and a Fabiana velvet texture for the dress and received the second picture.
The HDRI is from the poly heaven site: Belvedere 8k by Greg Zeal & Rico Cilliers, 1 Ghost Light to brighten up the shadows on the left.
The third picture (A Study In Grey And Pink) shows the same figure with another HDRI:
derelict_airfield_02_16k by Alexander Scholten with some extra puddles and Groundweed.
Citroen Traction by 3DClasics/RR, Mercedes 1955 by Nerdadantes/Renderhub, 39 Coupe on Blocks by Dreamland Models/RR.

Looks great. That derelict airfield HDRI caught my eye - have the creator but not where to find it.

Tue, Nov 25The HDRI is from polyhaven.com > assets > HDRI. But before you hit the download button, switch from 4k to something higher
and from EXR to HDRI ( > right upper corner) I found it quite useful to download the lower quality for the previews
and then change to the higher resolution before rendering.
