Uniden UBC 780XLT Wide Band Scanner
3D Render by GMArtworksUniden UBC 780XLT Wide band Scanner
Render: Iray DAZ Studio 4.24
Postwork: Photoshop/ON1 Effects 2022
Process:
All parts are built with combined 3d tools like Bryce, Vue and Daz Studio. Then I transferred all parts in OBJ and put the model together in Daz Studio. The textures are made in Photoshop and then transferred to all parts in Daz Studio.
About:
The Uniden UBC 780XLT is a wide band, desktop-style scanner that features Trunk Tracking III technology for monitoring Motorola, EDACS, and LTR systems.
Frequency range: 0.1–1999.8 MHz continuous reception, AM/FM/WFM, 5000 memories, fast scan speed (up to 100 steps/sec), priority channel, automatic modulation selection, adjustable squelch and RF gain. Ideal for receiving aircraft (VHF AM), maritime bands, 2-meter and 70-cm amateur bands, PMR and analog communications, broad spectrum of analog signals.
Specifications:
- Modes: AM, FM, NFM (Narrow FM), WFM (Wide FM)
- Channel Capacity: 500 channels arranged in 10 banks of 50 channels each
- Scan Rate: 100 channels per second
- Search Rate: 100 steps/sec (Turbo Search at 300 steps/sec for 5kHz steps)
- Tuning Steps: Selectable steps including 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 25, 50, and 100 kHz
- Trunking: Motorola, EDACS, and LTR systems supported
- Antenna Connector: 50 ohm, BNC type
- Power Supply: 13.8 VDC
- PC Control: Yes, via an RS-232C port
Other Notable Features:
- Alpha Tagging: 16-character alpha-numeric display for labeling channels and banks.
- CTCSS/DCS: Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System / Digital Coded Squelch (PL and DCS).
- Display: Bright orange LCD with dimmer control.
- Attenuator: Selectable signal attenuation to handle strong signals.
- Memory Backup: Non-volatile EEPROM storage.
