They say, however, that once a lad of no more then twenty showed up in the woods and claimed to have been away for just a day and a night, though all his family were dead then for well over 80 years. He went back the next day and never returned.

This was unplanned.
Actually I just wanted to make a render for a Chinese character for my next RPG session and used the Tranquility Pavillion with Moyras textures, adding a wooden background and some light. Then I clicked away the structure for some reason i cannot remember, and the scene and lightning was almost done and ready, too good to be used for just a character presentation and awaiting some danger lurking between the leafs and flowers. Then I remembered this contest.
So here we go.
Since ancient days the stories of Nymphs and Dryads luring the unwary away exist, and in a way Waterhouses Hylas and the Nymphs is the classic painting for that, if slightly a bit on the nude side (which probably was the point). Avoided a repetition, I planned for some more Dryadic huntresses.
The main lady is Arsinoe from Rigel_One, linked below, using her own skin texture.
The other two are Nina and Lilith from Chaosqueen-World, the former linked though only vaguely appearing in the main image. Both wearing their own skin, too. They also wear the Dryad Outfit for Genesis 8 Female from Exnem, the FPE Woodland Nymph Makeup from FenixPhoenix, Wasteland Grease from Aeon Soul, Elysianna Hair from Akhelloos and Courtney hair from AprilYSH for the lady on the left, some with minor tweaks.
The pose left and right is from "Feral poses" from Excessive (available here) and one wears a "Full Body Tattoo" from artshock - also available here, but both not really showing in the main image so not linked to not clutter their product pages.
The non-showing pavillon is Oriental Tranquility by DAZ/Jack Tomalin, the textures for the Awakening addon come from Moyras Butterfly Pavilion.
Slight Fog is from a SickleYield-set.
The background is from a free woodland set of Paulienchen from Renderosity (https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/95967/der-wald-284-287). Inquiry let to the information that this was created using AI, so if this background disqualifies the image from the contest, just throw it out, no hard feelings - I will just keep it in my private gallery then.
Rendered on an Nvidia GEForce GTX 1070 Ti, some two hour rendertime.
If I create these larger or add more characters the computer crashes, so that is what you get
