Hazel learned something early.
People rarely look past first impressions.
They see glowing skin, soft makeup, gentle colors - and they assume softness.
So she gave them exactly what they expected.
Blush pink lips.
Fresh skin.
A delicate headband holding everything perfectly in place.
But the eyeliner was always sharp.
That detail was intentional.
This portrait explores the contrast between "soft aesthetics and quiet confidence" - a character whose appearance suggests innocence while her expression hints at something more calculated.
Rendered in "DAZ Studio using Genesis 8 Female", the makeup look was refined using "DD Makeup Editor", a layered makeup editing tool designed for Iray PBR skin workflows. Artists can adjust color intensity, combine makeup styles, and fine-tune subtle details without permanently altering the original textures.
The goal of the render was to create a "photorealistic digital portrait" where beauty and narrative meet.
