the Angel
Stared down from the sky
A spirit force of mighty power
Illuminated by a different sun
Its wings shimmered with silent stories,
Whispers carved in threads of light.
Time bowed beneath its presence,
And shadows scattered from its sight
Its wings unfurled like distant galaxies,
Each feather burning with ancient grace.
A hush fell over the waking world
As dawn bowed gently to its face.
It carried echoes of forgotten realms,
Where silence sings and shadows sleep.
A guardian watching the fragile earth,
Its vigil long, its purpose deep.
