Maddie Test 1 + 2
3D Render by MjrkJust 2 tests with the model Maddy by Aglassdarkly. The first one is lit with the Energy Flow HDRI and the main- and rim lights of that set. Those lights don’t throw any shadows by default. So one can leave the draw ground option on. The shadows are made by the HDRI. (Well, yes, I know it’s the other way around 
The second is lit by three Ghost Lights. Since these emitting objects throw a shadow by default, I used the fading plane from Fabiana’s set. HDRI by SASE.

The little dog (looks like a bear to me) was made by Hypertaf.
