ideae factitiae
3D Render by MjrkThe idea was to morph the face of the beautiful Swedish actress Eva Roese - in which I didn’t succeed at all.
This figure bears no resemblance to the said actress. I’ll have to try with another character…
But I like the outcome of this try, so I’ll post it here. Basis was „Sylvine“ G8 by kadaj777, Natural Eyes by Chevvybabe,
„Delphi Hair“ by Aprylish with textures by Sloshworks, Breezy Day Outfit, SASE-Promo Lights and 3 Ghost Lights by KindredArts,
„Z My Favorite Book“ poses by Zeddicus, „Artisan Accents Bohemian Candles“ by Sveva.
In the second picture i used the Exnem-Texture 2/12 and „Ultra Layered Makeup“ by Fuseling, Classic Blowout Hair by Linday.
I made the frame and the picture. Thanks for looking!

Thu, Dec 19, 2024Deep thoughts, Marcopol. First of all: I don't speak French. Alain is a friend from France who makes wonderful Models of vintage cars. That's why I wrote merci
But there are translators online and now I get what you were writing. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on my simple picture. I must admit, my thoughts were not that deep in this case (and most other renderings (I hesitate to call these pictures "Art") ) The connection (for me) was, that I failed both times: I tried to depict Descartes around the time he had his dreams that led to the discours (20) . But he looked more like around the age of 40 - and I couldn't morph the given figure "Sylvine" to look anything like the beautiful Eva Roese. That's why I brought the two pictures together. But I like both pictures as they are now.

Thu, Dec 19, 2024ah, and for"ideae factitiae" it seems, the power of my imagination (or my skills) were not strong enough,
so they stay "ideae factitiae" in Bothe cases
Perhaps I'll try another time...
so they stay "ideae factitiae" in Bothe cases

Fri, Dec 20, 2024Oh, sorry for the French, I also know Alain for a few years, it's true that his work of creating 3d vehicles is superb and he is someone whose humanity I appreciate.
Marcel Duchamp said: "the viewers make the paintings", that is to say that there is a part of the meaning of the created work that belongs only to the spectator and that escapes its creator. This does not mean that this part does not exist, it means that "making a work of art" is not only being in a kind of mastery, but also in letting go.
I like to think, like Marcel Duchamp, that the work of art offers a rendez-vous, and like any meeting, this one can take multiple turns.
For me art does not consist in creating beautiful objects, it allows new conversations, where in moments of grace, we believe we recognize what the other wanted to transmit to us of his presence in the world.

Fri, Dec 20, 2024Beautiful and agreeable thoughts of Monsieur Duchamp. I just wanted to inform you - for the sake of completeness - how it came to this picture, and why these two characters without any usual connection appear in one picture.
But you're right, one has to let go and anything that is posted here or elsewhere is subject to interpretation.
