3D Render by HerheyChange
It is inevitable
It affects us all
Sometimes we hold the key
Sometimes we're just along for the ride
Different parts of the image were created in Daz Studio and Modo and rendered in Octane.
The Cloud-heads in the image were created by using a simple profile silhouette, and layering transparent png clouds inside it.
Then using the silhouette as a selection copied the group as a new image.
Then made a gradient glow for the profile and smudged and softened the edges in different place.
I used elements of my Shrub Alphabet and death head shrub for the trees.
The key and lock were freebies I got from chhatrashal here at Renderhub.
The boat is 1971's riverboat.
The birds in the background are transparent png.
The door was a freebie I got from sketchfab, then using parts of the door I created a door frame for it.
The water was created using a plane and applying turbulence for the bump mapping in octane, then stretching it along the x axis to make it appear as light rippling.

There's alot of great contributions in this contest, and i really don't want to belittle the other contributions, but yours is one of my favorites. I like it for it's simplicity and it really stands out to me. I'm not a judge, but Great Work!

Sun, Apr 05Thank you very much
I was listening to music from The Alan Parson's Project.
I had an idea to try an make it look like what I would make for one of their album covers.
