I originally put this scene together about 6 months ago using a mixture of Carter 9 and Julian 9 but didn't like the renders I was getting so it got saved in my "maybe later" folder. Opened it again a few days ago thinking it was a different file. I dialled out all the character morphs, dialled in Dylan 9 and some Kaos3d muscle morphs but forgot that the skin texture was still Carter 9. Reset the pose, lights, etc. Added a light so that the opposite wall seen in the mirror was illuminated. I added the vellus hairs, I know they only really show in close ups but I wanted to see if it made a difference on how the light interacted with skin texture. If it does then its mega subtle.
This is the one of the reasons - when creating a scene - if I don't like the renders I keep it rather than delete it. I have a number of scenes in that maybe later folder that I'm going to revisit. A handful of new assets can make a huge difference to an old scene.

This goes to show that subtly in morphs can be the key... as I try to tell many of my customers my promo images are an extreme version... so that you can see the definition in my morphs.

But using them at much lower values produces fantastic results too. Using them to sculpt the muscle groups if you will... as you have skilfully demonstrated here... he is a cutie pie BTW... emote
