Outtake #1
3D Render by thehermitcreativeThis is a fun outtake from the Narrative Art book that I'm creating. Basically, I'm doing some casual images that don't really have anything to do with the story, but show more about the characters. This is Dog with his favorite toy. The chicken toy goes wherever he goes. I had some issues with the eyes on the DA Rottweiler. I not sure how I messed them up, but boy did I!!!
Anyways, I didn't want to use AI to add eyes in. So, I used my dog Summer's eyes from a photograph I took of her back in 2019. This is bittersweet because we had to put Summer to sleep on Sunday due to cancer and internal bleeding. We are all still really struggling with her loss. I put the picture I used for her eyes in slot #2. It doesn't do her justice because she was a gorgeous red golden, but the eyes were a perfect match. This is my way of honoring Summer and keeping her memory alive
I am loving the POV camera for G9!! (And the chicken toy of course. It shows up a lot in my story)

Oh Kirsten, I'm so very sorry to hear about to read about Summer's passing. Having her as your family for at least six years, going by a 2019 photograph, is heartbreaking to lose. Thank you for sharing her and the image it inspired.

Sun, May 03Thank you, sweet Thomas. Summer was actually 10 1/2. She was my heart, but she was so miserable the last two weeks that I'm glad she is pain free. Dog in my story is actually inspired by my dog Damme who was a Rottie and Black Lab mix, but now he has Summer's eyes. My two favorite dogs wrapped into one
What a lovely way to honour your pets memory, The first thing that grabbed my attention were the eyes in that render, so to use the eyes of a loved family member in this way is an inspiration. When dogs pass they leave a hole that nothing can truly fill, but fond memories of your time together do help <3

Thu, May 07Thank you very much. You are so right that they leave a hole, but I will always cherish all the memories from the last 10 1/2 years <3 I am so glad that the eyes stood out to you. I had made such a mess of the eyes in the original render. I still can't figure out what I did (facepalm).
