Name That Song May 26
3D Render by maru_berlinSo, this time, there is not really a song quiz as such, since this exerpt from a poem should make guessing somewhat irrelevant:
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortals ever dared to dream before;
But the silence was unbroken, and the stillness gave no token,
And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, "Lenore!"
This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, "Lenore!"-
Merely this, and nothing more.
But still: there IS a piece of music which could be named. Apparently the piece from 1976 was the first rock song ever to feature a digital vocoder.
Found a remix from 1987 which to me is a bit sharper.
Second image is the not postworked base.
For those wanting to know about the last month's song, it was of course "You Can Leave Your Hat On", performed and elaborately choreographed by Joe Cocker.
