Took a trip down memory lane and after an year and a half elbow deep in the COD fandom working on my OCs and more recently in the Resident Evil one I went back to my most loved one of all times: Dragon Age.
The idea was to work on my Inquisitor (the very first character I ever made in the franchise since DAI was my fist game of the series), but life had other plans and here it comes my beloved Hero of Ferelden, Lady Cousland.
In my canon playthrough (that I never finished because somehow my saves got corrupted, but I have her ending all planned out) from the DA Keep she's supposed to be a Human Noble Rogue, but I distinctly remember her as a Dual Wielder Warrior, so I suppose I'll just replay the game that way once I finish with my summer session at Uni. As for the name, she obviously has one, but I'm not entirely convinced by it (it was given when I was younger and probably didn't want to call her the same as my Inky that was created before her), so I may end up chancing it in the future.
This render is a bit more "complete" than the ones I usually do, with a background and a bit of postwork in Photoshop (just a simple coloring that I thought matched the DAO atmosphere), so I have to say that I'm pretty proud of it and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do! ☺⤸

Nice. I think that character (Cousland, but male) was by far the character I spent the most time trying to get right. There was the character descriptions, relatives, and a few other things to take into account.

I'm glad you like her! I have to admit I never played the other origins, so I wasn't aware that it was knows so little about them (except maybe for the Dwarf Noble?), but I absolutely loved playing as a Cousland too and for me she will always be my canon HoF (and Queen of Ferelden. And Warden-Commander ). There's probably A LOT of stuff I haven't discovered in my playthrough or that I don't remember, so I can't wait to go back and replay it all after all these years! ^^

I tried to do the other origins, but pretty much sputtered out after the intro, primarily because I got so attached to my canon Cousland. If I replay it, which I tried to do (started to glitch out in spots), I would just end up making basically the same choices. I do miss playing as him, though.

I did the same with my Female Trevelyan Inquisitor, the only thing that changed was the class (I switched from warrior to mage and wasn't really able to go back from that despite trying the rogue), but I probably wouldn't be able to play, for example, an Elf. Maybe a Dwarf, just because I thought about doing a romance with Blackwall instead of going back to Cullen over and over again, but like you I'd probably would end up doing everything the same.

Beautiful and captured her grace so wonderfully. That is so unfortunate about the corrupted files, it always frustrates me when something like that gets in the way of being creative and having fun doing so.

I wanted to try and show a slice of her life before the start of the game before everything went to hell and I'm so happy you think I was able to make it! ⤸
About the corrupted files, well, I suppose it's going to be an excuse to replay the game again and discover all those things I missed the first time years ago
