DropScarf (Info)
3D Render by Pushee-RiYet another fiddly and intricate Pushee project: a dForce scarf for all Genesis versions, all DAZ 3D clothing items... and every occasion
From the projects readme:
IMPORTANT
The scarf is not attached (parented) to anything. Therefore - to avoid simulation errors - always DISABLE the "Start Bones From Memorized Pose" option!
"Render Settings" pane -> Initialization -> Start Bones From Memorized Pose -> OFF
FIRST STEPS
First, load the model and the 3D clothing (if you want to use any). Now load a pose. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, because you won't be able to change the pose after the simulation!
LOCATING THE SCARF
When the prop is loaded, it is sometimes difficult to see (since it is a 2D object). If this happens, select it in the "Scene" pane. The prop is always loaded above the model's head. Since G8 models are larger than G9 models, the distance is slightly greater for G9 and should be adjusted.
POSITIONING THE SCARF
I've written a short tutorial on my Dropables and Drapeables. In addition to several other tips, you'll find illustrated instructions on how to position them right at the beginning.

MORPHS BEFORE SIMULATION
In addition to the general rotation and scaling options, you can use these morphs to change the shape of the scarf BEFORE THE SIMULATION. Keep in mind: dForce does not adopt the new shape exactly as it is during the simulation, but modifies it according to the laws of gravity.
MORPHS AFTER SIM(ulation)
These morphs are useful for slightly adjusting the neckScarf AFTER the simulation.
FINETUNING
Poke throughs may occur after the simulation. If they do not disappear with the 'Volume' morphs, you can carefully reposition the simulated object until it looks correct from the selected camera angle. See the tutorials "Act like a director" section.
Enjoy
