Mossgard the Wyvern
3D Render by BelmonttyTheir scales are the color of living emerald, covered in soft moss and golden veins that shimmer like sunbeams filtering through the leaves. Every movement causes the light to dance across their body like liquid gold spilled over eternal leaves. Their wings, vast and membranous, look like living tapestries woven with ferns and golden threads.
Mossgard is not a lord of destruction, nor a servant of kings. He is a free soul of the forest

He's beautiful and I love him to bits. I once read a novel that depicted wyverns as the truest of dragons because their four-legged brethren were just "mythology" (some nonsense about not having creatures with six appendages...pfft). So... in rebellion, I gave mine opposing thumbs and turned them into pacifists and introverts. They still like glass blowing and banking from time to time. Four-legged dragons also became the most significant creatures magically in my universe but you still don't wanna mess with the wyverns. I hope we'll get to see more of Mossgard's story now.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Sat, Jun 13Oh yeah, that controversy about dragons and wyverns. I read that even for the Game of Thrones series they wanted to make them 6-limbed dragons, and George R.R. Martin flatly said no! They must have 4 limbs.
Anyway, I love them just the same, even without limbs like some Chinese dragons or the Feathered Serpent of the Aztecs.
