Everybody is entitled to an opinion (though not all need to be voiced) - personally I prefer constructive criticsim - who knows, maybe I could learn something?

Thu, Jul 16OK, I'll be constructive: my suspicion was (however unfair) that you entered this as an initial salvo, an experiment to see how many likes such an image will entice; ie. it was just for grins and basically an insult to the audience. I apologize if this was not your intention.

Thu, Jul 16I KNOW that painterly styles do usually not win anything in competitions (though somehow I seem to always enter one when I decide to take part), because I like them. And yes, I might redo this, but not after judging the chances but to improve on the sea monster. Also, I do expect to see a lot of bikini beauties at the now prescribed age of 21+ entered, oiled up and sultry. And although I occasioinally do like images like that, I always try to brush against the grain with something different.
I create what comes to mind and though I happily receive likes and comments, I do not live on them. Maybe you'll find my upcoming summer render more appealing, which I will not enter in the summer contest as to not flood the contest with my stuff only because it fits the theme.
