Blue Twin-Nacelle Starship - Animated Lights & 3 LODs 3D Model
A rugged blue sci-fi transport with twin cylindrical engine nacelles, weathered metal bands and exposed machinery. Satin cockpit windows reveal a compact furnished bridge, while cool engine glow and warm amber lights bring the stationary ship to life.
Available as a free download.
FEATURES
• Refined cockpit with 11 separate glass panels, frames and seals.
• Compact enclosed bridge interior with two seats and consoles.
• Smooth 12-second engine and signal-light emission cycle in Blender and Unity URP.
• Three LODs with individually baked UV atlases and PBR textures.
• Unity URP prefab, LODGroup, demonstration scene and ShipEffects.cs source.
• Independent Unity controls for effects on/off, intensity, speed and phase.
INCLUDED FORMATS
• BLEND with packed textures and native material animation.
• FBX and self-contained GLB for all three LODs.
• OBJ/MTL for LOD0.
• Unity URP unitypackage.
• PNG textures, English documentation and dependency notices.
• 20 model previews and two 12-second videos.
GEOMETRY
LOD0: 260,852 triangles / 130,672 mesh vertices.
LOD1: 131,191 triangles / 65,793 mesh vertices.
LOD2: 53,360 triangles / 26,834 mesh vertices.
Each LOD contains 6 mesh objects and 8 materials. Imported vertex counts may increase at UV and normal seams.
TEXTURES AND SCALE
12 PBR texture maps: Base Color, Normal, Roughness and Metallic for each LOD. LOD0 uses 4096 4096 maps; LOD1 and LOD2 use 2048 2048 maps. Unity includes additional packed metallic/smoothness maps.
Approximate dimensions: 25.21 32 7.59 metres. Scale is an artistic estimate. All LODs share a centered pivot.
ANIMATION AND COMPATIBILITY
Material animation is included in Blender and Unity URP. FBX, GLB and OBJ contain static emission. The hull remains stationary; there is no flight or mechanical animation.
Emission remains visible without bloom. Blender glazing uses rough transmission; Unity uses alpha transparency. Appearance and material support vary between applications.
Tested in Blender 4.5 LTS and Unity 6000.3.24f1 with URP 17.3.0, including reimport of the delivered files and Play Mode testing in a second clean Unity project.
The interior is limited to the visible bridge. No full walkable interior, skeleton, collision mesh or gameplay controller is included. Some softened surface details from the original model remain. Mobile/VR performance and other rendering pipelines have not been tested.
A LITTLE BACKSTORY
On the quiet routes beyond the relay belt, blue hull paint is a promise that the next supply crate will arrive. This dependable transport has crossed more dusty docking aprons than its registry clerk cares to count. Its next destination is yours to choose.
