First, thank you for continuing your original thread
As written in the original thread, I can't listen to music while working. But when my PC is rendering and I can't use DAZ, I like to search for songs from my memory in between (Blurt, Sonic Youth, Pension Winnetou, etc) ... and often come across new or at least unfamiliar ones.
For example, I love watching people make music when they are completely absorbed in it and obviously enjoy it: many make music for a living - few live for the music.
Here's an example (it's a cover version, which I like better than the original):

I have another video - but it's nothing to " just listen to ". It's by Baiju Bhatt (the violinist). Maybe soon, when some jazz has appeared here (so more jazz than above

Talking about violinists and India, I remembered something from my earlier days (have the album on vinyl (!!))
What L. Shankar conjures up from his violin in conjunction with John McLaughlin, Zakir Hussain and T. H. Vinayakram is breathtaking - and unplugged.

Mozart is difficult to interpret due to its complexity. I'm more of a Bach fan. There are wonderful swinging interpretations of some of his pieces. But I haven't found any on YT yet. But as soon as I do, I'll post it here

OK - I'd like to take you on a short journey through time. I'm sure some of you will remember this piece ... and for the others: this is what electronic music (I don't know what you call it nowadays) sounded like in 1984. Personally, I'm always amazed at how fresh and up-to-date the song sounds.

2017 was my last festival, I stopped working Glastonbury in 2014 after doing that show in one role or another since the 90's.
After opening the main act with my little prank on the BBC and Metallica. Performing all 4 days with our comedy theatrical rock bar. Acting , performing and drawing tattoos on people with a sharpie. And building the venue and helping other departments make neon lights work correctly. Meeting and performing with Johnny fingers. 2014 was one mental year the climax of 20 years or more.
How can I ever top that?
So if I ever do go back, unreal engine will be coming with me. I would get a 7.5 tone truck and kit it out with a full unreal studio and a comfy home to live in.
check out DMX lighting in unreal..... I'm certainly tempted to go back to lighting.

Mike was Rodger's driver during his time down under. When the show was live we used his car to go buy some weed as there was a bit of a drought at the time.

A humorous song in French by Marcel Amont "The Rabbit and the Camels"
Link to the French lyrics: https://www.paroles.net/marcel-amont/paroles-le-lapin-et-les-chameaux
Here's a summary.
A rich sultan had a magnificent rosebush. One night, a camel ate the roses.
The sultan ordered that all the camels be killed. But a little camel heard the angry sultan and warned the camel general. The herd decided to leave that night.
Some time after leaving, the camel general saw a rabbit running after them and asked the rabbit, "Where are you running?"
The rabbit replied, "I'm not a camel, but before I prove it, the executioner will have killed me. When I was very young, my father told me: "Learn to run before you think; it might be useful to you."

Tue, Aug 26The dancers in this ballet are serious, what I wanted to show as many people as possible is that there are ballets where the dancers caricature themselves and that it is a funnier entertainment. It also allows us to listen to a style of music that is not song lyrics or music for modern dance (I wanted to avoid the terms great music and classical music)

Tue, Aug 26Yes, I know it was a funny video, DoroThee. It just brought back this memory. The Cuban ballet dancers have a lot of my respect. Their government gives them almost nothing, not even clothing to practice. They cannot work for anyone other than the government, and yet they still work very hard because they love what they do, even if hungry and with patched flats, if they even have any.
