Yes, it's a scam: "RenderH*a*b Team" is a con artist attempting phishing. Why would support send a link that points to another website?

I get lots of this shit because I'm involved in all sorts of stuff. There was even a recent flurry of scammy trash in out vintage car club forum. There was an article in Wired not long ago about how the Chinese government is promoting scam tactics by their own citizens and giving them special privileges to access the general internet through the Great Chinese Firewall. Because they're not terribly sophisticated, the scams are pretty easy to spot. Still, it seems that last year saw them rake in 1.5 Billion bucks from the US alone. North Korea and several African countries are also in on the act.

Mon, Nov 10In France, there's a prevalent phone scam: the fake bank advisor scam. The scammer pretends to be part of your bank's fraud detection unit. The goal is to get you to authorize bank transfers, and unfortunately, few people have the right reaction: hang up and call your bank!
Yes, that is a scam, and the account has already been terminated.
