When you decide to boycott RenderHub for the decisions of management you will hurt them yes
But
You also hurt the Makers a lot.
As a maker and seller here I WANT RenderHub to be successful.
Yes it enriches the owners but it also enriches me and my fellow makers.
I was not hit hard by the Adult XXX Incident (I lost 13 items and 1 has been reissued)
But now sales have fallen off a cliff, my usual weekend sales of my new characters has tanked.
So this whole situation is (probably) affecting all the sellers
If you want to help those hit hardest buy from them
These are the few I can recall who I have bought from in the past who I know had a significant number of products labeled as Adult.

I think one of the biggest victims here is Pawngame. He recently celebrated his 1,000th (!!) Renderhub project with a freebie ...

Sat, Jul 11sometimes, when the model is already made, it just need a repackaging to be acceptable again. but you are right, from a 1000, to lose 800, that is brutal.
Will be trying to convert old poses to fit the guidelines, and posting newer safer content.. nothing like starting fresh....

Like many creators, I am somewhat concerned, but above all, appalled.
The best retort to the people behind this disaster-who are likely religious-is simply to call for the closure of churches. After all, we haven't forced anyone to watch what we do with 3D. We leave them alone while they sing in their churches; they should leave us alone while we use our keyboards and mouse.

Pawngame got one cleaned up that was on my wishlist. I'll pick that up today. The problem with a general call for support is I'm not rich enough to buy stuff I don't need, and a lot of what I do isn't here any more. I will take a look.

Thank you for the shout out! I feel for everyone affected by this whole disaster especially those who lost a lot. Years of hard work...
I've been slowly recycling & re-submitting my old contents to be able to pass Mature rating, yes there might be another purge but DAZ store itself allows Mature content.. Kind of.. So there's a hope I guess. Nothing we can do other than trying, right? Though I personally would never feel safe anymore, can't lie, but seeing other vendors re-build their stores gives me motivation.
So yes before you think of leaving, please give us vendors a chance to re-new our products & build our store again, it would be much appreciated

Sat, Jul 11I've been getting some updates from item's I have bought so I suspect the answer depends on the item. With some they would have to change the item, adult posters on a building when you are selling the building for example. If you switch those over to non-adult posters to redo the promo you pretty much have to update the package to include them or your are false advertising.
Promo shots on clothing where they switch from human to manikin wouldn't require a product change.

And if you already have some products from the affected (especially the ones still available), you can show them off and tag them in the gallery. Maybe someone else will get inspired to spend a bit.

Sun, Jul 12My store here was demolished, thankfully this was my other store. My first and now only is at Renderotica and everyone who got their adult products removed and is not already there should set up a store there. They are up from 1999 and will continue to be, they just had a little snag. Also anyone that want's to support the creators that lost their adult assets here should just follow them there.

I've purchased products from the artists you mentioned-as well as many who have commented here-and I've bought quite a lot, too.
Now that they've been purged,
I don't think you need to worry about them; they'll find somewhere else to go.
I understand you don't want these NSFW artists to disappear or for RenderHub to lose a huge portion of its customer base.
But don't forget, those NSFW consumers came here specifically *because* of those NSFW artists.
You can't expect them to suddenly start buying a bunch of SFW products just to keep RenderHub afloat or to support the artists whose content was removed.
If these NSFW artists want to survive, they'll simply move to a new platform and start over-and the consumers who originally bought their NSFW work will follow them there.
Artists willing to abide by the guidelines and stay here to sell SFW products will be facing a new consumer base-rather than the consumers who originally supported NSFW artists.
Now that they've been purged,

Thu, Jul 16Exactly. I have over 30,000 items from Daz (not even joking a little bit) and the vast majority of my "3rd party" products were bought at Renderotica. I only discovered Renderhub maybe 2 years ago. The only reason to buy outside of the official Daz store (in my opinion) is for things you cannot get there or if you're a Blender or Poser user. On the SFW side of it, some artists have environments that I like and cannot get elsewhere and I will buy them here but otherwise my wishlist here went basically down to zero with the purge. As for overpaying (in my opinion) for character morphs or hair or clothing on here goes.... why? The only thing truly unique on here now that the NSFW purge has happened is all the copyright infringement and IP theft releases like game rips or stolen characters from pop culture. Somehow that flies under the radar is still allowed to be sold.... weird.

Yeah, I discovered this site after ShareCG shut down and some people pointed to this site. After the purge I am just clearing out my wishlist (well, what items that are not hidden after the purge) and I doubt I will look here very often in the future.

Though I am sympathetic to vendors here at RH. A large portion of my content I purchase is adult oriented as I do comics and commissions in those genres. I am on a more limited budget these days and have opted to concentrate on using my crap ton of content. In short I've always supported vendors and businesses alike. I was considering going the vendor route here myself as I have a mix of content I should just package and move along with. But I don't have a presence here and not sure with the way they handled things I want one. I see the pain that Pawngame and others I've purchased from are experiencing. I will support them wherever they land as much as possible.
Given I personally am hurting financially for RL reasons my sympathy is strong, but not strong enough to simply support this site and in general others impacted. I am not going to just buy stuff willy nilly to support them as much as that would be nice. I do purchase from a few of the folks you have listed. But I am here for adult content for my personal comic and commission sale needs. I can't just purchase things that do not have a project I am personally getting paid or making an income off. That isn't good business sense. RH has lost me as a frequent customer. I mean the content I actually need isn't here any longer and I will just find alternatives. I don't need most poses as I do most of my own poses at this point. I don't need much in terms of characters or skins, textures, materials, etc. I was here for the adult themed content, anatomy, scene objects, and etc. Pretty much most of which is gone.
I'll focus on Renderotica when its back to normality and DA where I have a store front already in place... and I will find a way to support the artists that I support but it has to be for things I'd actually need for a project.... I can't afford to support them for sake of supporting them until my own financial situation is resolved.
Vendors were the most impacted here. However, folks that make adult content for comics, commissions, etc. are also impacted as they have lost a stable platform that they can utilize for their own work ands ales. I mean I'm doubly screwed if I want to sell a comic at the moment on pretty much most sites that I frequent apparently which sucks as I was in the process of posting a ton of comics I've been working on to expand my prescence on the net here and Renderotica. Streams I really needed to improve financially, but that is life. I will focus on DA for the moment and see what shakes out from these various fun times. But I don't expect to spend much here at RH anytime soon. Simply nothing I can't live without at this point or can find on DAZ or other sites. I had been saving up on a massive purchase (i guess my cart and wish list are DOA now) of things from Pawngame and a few others but that isn't going to happen apparently. So in part I guess I can thank RH administration for driving me to work with or make my own content and save some bucks.

I agree. I have grown fond of a few (more than a few) sellers here. Like @Pushee mentioned, a great example is @Pawngame. I can't even imagine crafting 1000 items. The nights, days, hours, years of dedication to the craft are beyond what I will probably ever do in my lifetime. Why would anyone further hurt his/her bottom line by boycotting buying from them? If anything, we should support them even more.
