Wed, May 08, 2024Yes I understand, in a world in constant change, a fragile world balance, just as we experienced with the industrial revolution, the arrival of AI will shake up many things, perhaps a revenge of blue-collar workers on white-collar workers?
I appreciate that you are doing your best to ensure that the works in the galleries are not used by the AI.
If I understand correctly, currently the AI can only generate 2D images, but it is possible that in some time (months or years) the AI will be able to create 3D objects and generate code in obj format. All we have to do is hope that this day comes as late as possible, and never will be the ideal.

AI does have the ability to generate 3D models in OBJ and other formats today. We will continue to reject these, but lets be sure to stay on top of this.

I think AI should only be used in certain areas, and also monitored.
It is a tool that is so powerful & very much open to abuse.
The problem with it is function creep. It can be low key & even subliminal.
It might quickly reach a sinister point where we are not aware what is 'real' & what is artificially generated.
Unfortunately, I suspect we might already be at or beyond that point already. :/
