Looks great. Some of thosae older assets like the V2 Edwardian hair stand up to newer characters quite well.

"hand cannon" that looks like a very heavy pistol. Sometimes you can find very rare stuff there.

Genesis 2 had the best outfits and hair imho. Then again it could be nostalgia talking. Michael 4 really came out nice. If you didn't mention it's him I would have mistaken him for G8M. Great job on portraying the period.

You know your painting exhibits mimesis when the viewers try to pick the flowers from the canvas.

I feel you pain, I've struggled endlessly trying to create period uniforms out of scrap bits. I'm also a huge fan of faux representations of old historical photos. I'm not a feminist or women's right activist so don't take what I'm about to put down in any negative way. An interesting bit of trivia about turn of the century photography is that if you study the images that present married couples, the man is almost always sitting, and the woman is the one standing. This could be some aspect of misogynistic tendances imbedded in men of that time or simply because it was nearly impossible to sit and try and look fetching in a big plush chair, in the gowns of that era. That said, I still love your work here =)

Officer and Gentleman and leaves the chair for his Lady.
But there is technical reason of course: the M4-clothes are not dynamic and looks rather stiff in a sitting position.
