Space Crimes - Monsieur Girard and the Hotel Matter
3D Render by slofkoskyWhen Madeline approached me, I could hear the urgency in her voice before she even spoke. "Nita’s been missing for a week" she said, her voice tight with worry. "No calls, no messages… nothing!" Her eyes held that rare flash of vulnerability, and for once, she looked less like the razor sharp partner I knew and more like someone struggling to hold herself together.
I took her hand feeling the tension in her grip. "Darling, I’m going to do everything in my power to find out what happened to Nita. You just wait..." I barely finished the sentence before she cut in.
"I’m going too! You’re not talking me out of this one" she declared, already moving toward the bedroom, her suitcase in hand, determination replacing the worry in her eyes.
Two days and a string of dead end leads later, we checked into Las Copas... a resort drenched in opulence and secrets. It was the last known location where Madeline had traced her friend, and one particular photo showing Nita and a man named Monsieur Girard sharing cocktails by the pool, pointed us here.
Now poolside, with the suspect in our sights, we watch in silence tracking his every move and measuring the level of danger.
Madeline will be the bait as she and Nita shared a resemblance that Girard wouldn't overlook. Watching her dry off beside me, steeling herself for the role she was about to play, I felt a mix of pride and worry. This wasn't just another case, and Madeline wasn’t just another partner. She was stepping into dangerous waters for her friend and I was right beside her as much as was possible but ready for anything.

Sun, Nov 03, 2024Oh WOMAN!!! I see it now... it's the most incredible author EVErwild! I hadn't thought about adding more social media into my life as I'm bad enough as it is trying to keep up with everything, everyone. I like that in renderhub you can follow people which is damn cool!

Sun, Nov 03, 2024I can't keep up with social media either, so I totally get it. It's a little easier here because they allow us to follow each other and track new things through our hubs. It has been a pretty nice, welcoming community, too. I don't spend a ton of time in the forums but they are a little easier to keep track of, and well... all the contests RenderHub supports are just fun.

Mon, Nov 04, 2024Honestly, I started posting here within the last year. I like that fact that there is no AI, and I like being able to follow people too. I've found a number of new artists that I like and the contests they run are a lot of fun.
