The Weak Point
3D Render by slofkoskyThe station was designed to carry them to the new home world, a journey that would take over ten years. Filtration systems for the water, scrubbers to clean the dirty air and refrabrication units to take what was old and make it new again insured that they could make it.
But for Artemis it was just a high-tech prison floating amongst the stars. No one really asked her if she wanted this and if they did, well, they'd get an ear full. And for all of its high tech gizmo's, buzzers and beepers with an incredible view... they still couldn't do a damn thing about the common every day annoying house fly.
One more thing... for all of the incredible discoveries and achievements that came together to make this space flight possible, there was a problem. The micro-cracks, sheering from forces pulling and pushing in all areas of the station focused their energy in one single point. And little did Artemis know, but the fly had just landed in the most vulnerable point of the whole space station.

Really excellent! It took me some time to decide which part was the 'real' part and which one was the reflected part until I noticed the fly...
Now, let's hope she is going to leave the fly in life and not hit this weak point with her shoe...

It might be interesting to think of what will happen if she tries to get the fly and smashes the glass with her boot instead. Is anything behind there? The light where the two hands meet the glass is pretty cool.
