John, an intergalactic investigator, had grown tired of the endless missions and the weight of his choices. The galaxy felt too vast, and his efforts seemed meaningless. His partner, Madeline, noticed his growing despair but no matter what she said, John couldn’t shake the feeling that the universe would be better off without him.

One evening as John stared out into the vastness of space, lost in his thoughts, Madeline quietly approached. “You’re thinking of leaving again, aren’t you?” she asked. John admitted that he didn’t see the point anymore. Madeline pulled him into a gentle embrace and reminded him “you’ve made a difference, John. We’re in this together.”

Without thinking, John suddenly lifted Madeline into the air, spinning her in the low gravity of their room aboard the starship. Laughing, they shared a brief joyful moment floating together. As they returned to the ground, John realized that he wasn’t alone as Madeline was there and together, they could face whatever the galaxy had in store. In that moment he understood that their partnership was what truly mattered and it made his life, no matter how complicated... a wonderful one.

This is my remake of the classic movie poster for It's a Wonderful Life except I swapped in my characters from Space Crimes in the scene and text. This took a while editing the text, coloring, painting within Affinity Photo 1.0. Tried my best to recreate the blue cloud streaks in the background.. close enough I figured.

Little changes because of 3D wardrobe differences are just a trade-off but not too bad; the skirt on Madeline, the cuffs on Johns' wrists, heel differences and then I just noticed I forgot to add the pearl necklace floating in the air... that would have been fun to do but I'm tired...
