In trying times, it is important to think about how incredible it is to be alive on this world. How about the first time you ever bit into a chocolate chip cookie? How about the first time you kissed someone?
You might be very busy, but try to look all around you sometime. What does the sky look like like? Are there any bright colors around? Are there plants and trees? It only takes 30 seconds or a couple of minutes.
Just do that once in a while whenever you remember, and it will help keep you from becoming a drone.

Blue Flame you are totally onto the truth here. I try so hard to be in the moment and see what is there to be seen or experience what it is that I’m experiencing. Sometimes it slows down time too because the more you are focusing on the moment to moment, I think our brains just feel more fit into one space means there was more time in that day. Boy I’m rambling… it’s after 2am and I’m tired. Just can’t sleep.
