Ivory, Her Cat Moshi and Poe the Crow (Pt 4)
3D Render by slofkoskyFrom Part #3:
The choice and response was now hers.
Part #4:
Ivory tightened her grip on Moshi and raised her wand sideways as it glowed with energy as the past slowly unfolded before her eyes. The warmth of her wand’s light flickered against the icy backdrop, illuminating the tragedy that had left a soul stranded between worlds where the crow had already taken flight within.
A woman’s cries pierced the cold air, raw and desperate. Her arms pulling at the guard restraining her, fingers trembling from rage and sorrow. Before them, a nobleman stood firm, his sword still buried in the chest of the man before him, his victim gasping in silent agony before collapsing into the bloodstained snow. The house afire behind them roared, its embers dancing in the wind, as if bearing witness to the injustice.
Ivory’s heart pounded. This moment had already passed, yet here it was, replaying as if the wound itself refused to heal. The lost soul had never moved beyond this night.
She turned her eyes downward. Moshi, ears flicking at every echo of the past, stared unblinking at the nobleman had committed such an unspeakable crime.
“How do we help him?Ivory whispered.
The ground beneath her pulsed with energy, an ancient force swirling between past and present. The spirit’s tether was strong, and severing it the wrong way could trap him forever, or worse, bind her to this moment as well.
Ivory closed her eyes from this unspeakable moment, feeling the weight of responsibility settle over her shoulders. This was no longer just about the past. It was about justice. It was about setting things right.
But how?
The crow, flying above, let out a series of caws attempting to catch Ivory's attention.
Ivory exhaled slowly, her breath curling in the cold. "You have an idea, don’t you Poe?"
The scene flickered changing, shifting. A new presence stirred in the shadows.
Something, or someone, was watching.
NOTES: -------------
Not sure anyone is reading along with this goofy story but I'm just having fun... letting off some steam.

Really excellent! I love the way you place so many people into a scene to tell a story.
And, yes, we read the story !

Love the cat's expression!
Your effect to show that Ivory is separate from the scene is ingenious.
