The captain of the guard with his men once again armed after recovering their dropped spears shouted "Now just a minute there, miss. Are you the one known as Alys?"

She gave a single nod, too angry to speak.

COME ALONG NOW

The guardsmen surrounded Alys and pointed their spears at her.

The Captain locked her wrist in chains.

Alys stared into the distance, still trying to find something she could have done to save Ryanne.

"Come along, now. We don't want any trouble."

THE CAPTAIN SHOWS HIS METTLE

As the other men lead Alys away, the Captain decided to assert his authority over one of the Inn's dogs.

The dog cowered and then retreated behind the Inn.

The Captain smiled.
